The Tennessee Titans have re-signed former Tennessee Volunteers long-snapper Morgan Cox, the team announced Saturday.
The five-time Pro Bowl player originally became a member of the Titans in 20212 after playing out the first 11 seasons of his professional career with the Baltimore Ravens. The return to Tennessee was a special one for Cox, who expressed to TennesseeTitans.com last month that staying in the state was something of value to him.
“God has a plan, and I certainly hope to be back with the Titans next year,” Cox said. “I am going to play as long as I possibly can. I love what I get to do, and I am grateful. I feel like I am still playing at a high level, and I am going to keep playing as long as I can.”
It will be interesting to watch just how much more the veteran who has played in 210 contests in his career accomplishments accomplishes in what is to come.
