Tennessee tweets classy tribute to Kentucky LB Chris Oats ahead of Saturday’s game

In May, Kentucky LB Chris Oats had to be hospitalized due to a “serious medical condition” and has spent the ensuing months in a physical rehabilitation facility.
Last week, his family tweeted that Oats was back home and continuing his recovery process. This season, Kentucky players have rotated wearing Oats’ No. 22 jersey.
As the team prepares for a game at Tennessee on Saturday, the opposing Vols tweeted out a very classy message to Oats:

The #22OatsStrong is what Kentucky fans and the Oats family has been using to share encouraging messages and well wishes.

That’s a classy gesture from the Vols ahead of Saturday’s matchup between the 2 SEC East squads.
