Tennessee and Georgia hook up on Saturday in what figures to be the SEC’s regular season game of the year.

Earlier this season, the Tennessee-Alabama game lived up to the hype, with Tennessee emerging victorious in an epic 52-49 shootout. Now, Tennessee turns its attention to Georgia. Hopefully, this one lives up to the billing, too.

On Saturday morning, Tim Tebow was asked about the biggest catalyst in the SEC East showdown. Tebow’s answer wasn’t Tennessee’s high-flying offense led by Hendon Hooker; it was Georgia’s dominant defensive line.

“Listen, you can bring up the quarterbacks. You can bring up the tight ends and playmakers — Jalin Hyatt, Brock Bowers and the quarterbacks on both sides and so many different playmakers,” Tebow said.

“But, listen, what is Georgia built on? It’s built on defense, and specifically, the defensive line. This defensive line has been ridiculous all year, and they don’t get the credit really, because last year’s defensive line was also incredible, and they got hype up.

“But don’t sleep on this defensive line. They dominated Florida last week. They’ve only given up two rushing touchdowns in eight games, and also, the second best in FBS at allowing one yard per rush before someone gets hit. That’s a ridiculous defensive line, but let me tell you why it’s such a big deal. Now, with that defensive line dominating, Georgia can play two-high safeties and stay over the top of the deep game against Tennessee, which we know they like to go to early and often, but with two safeties, how will they adjust?”

Georgia hosts Tennessee Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports.
