The Tennessee Volunteers offense has been on fire of late, mainly because of the passing game led by quarterback Hendon Hooker.

Hooker has thrown for more than 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns this season with only 1 interception. He has been the main reason for the Vols success on offense.

Tennessee wide receiver’s coach Kodi Burns praised Hooker’s work these past few weeks as the starting quarterback.

“Hendon is a phenomenal quarterback. Great competitor. The moment’s not too big, he gets beat up (in the pocket), and he completes balls down the field,” Burns said.

Burns also complimented Hooker on how humble, tough, and competitive he is too. In their last 2 ballgames, the Vols have posted 62 and 45 points against Missouri and South Carolina, respectively.

On Saturday, the Vols will face another high-powered offense, the Ole Miss Rebels.
