Nichols recently visited with the Wildcats on Jun. 5. He picked Kentucky over Michigan, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Penn State, and Pitt.
Nichols is now the 12th recruit in the 2024 class to pick Kentucky. He is also the first CB to commit to Mark Stoops.
The Wildcats ended the year at 7-6 after losing 21-0 to Iowa in the Music City Bowl. Kentucky was without its starting QB Will Levis, who opted out to prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Levis was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the draft.
Kentucky will be led by N.C. State transfer Devin Leary at QB in 2023. Leary spent his entire college career with the Wolf Pack before announcing his decision to transfer to Lexington this offseason.
