Terrion Arnold recently shared Alabama’s mentality after they had a players-only meeting coming off an underwhelming 17-3 victory vs. South Florida.

The sophomore defensive back expressed in a radio interview that the meeting was productive and egos were put to the side for the betterment of the team.

Alabama lost 34-24 to Texas and followed that up with the narrow victory at South Florida.

Arnold says it was time for the players to regroup and put everything on the table in search of answers to chart a successful path the test of the season.

“If you can’t tell your best friend they’re in the wrong, or they’re doing something they’re not supposed to be doing – that’s not your best friend,” Arnold said.

The 6-foot, 196-pound Arnold has amassed 5 solo tackles and 3 pass deflections this season. The Tallahassee native notched 45 total tackles, a fumble recovery, and an interception during his freshman campaign.

No. 13 Alabama will have a major challenge against visiting No. 15 Ole Miss on Saturday. CBS analysts recently shared their thoughts on the SEC West showdown that’s slated for 3:30 p.m. EST on the network.
