Let’s just say that Texas A&M isn’t playing an Alabama-caliber opponent this week.

Entering today’s nonconference game against New Mexico State as a 45-point favorite, A&M will be looking to rebound from its tough 33-14 loss in Tuscaloosa last week with a big-time win at home before returning to SEC play next week against Mississippi State.

After steamrolling an Alabama helmet in Week 8 — following its videos that featured a 4,000-lb rock dropping on a Tennessee helmet and a delicious deep-fried a South Carolina helmet — TexAgs.com felt it needed to be a little festive for its next contest by smashing a pumpkin with the New Mexico State logo on it.

Both teams will meet for the battle of the Aggies tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET.
