Texas A&M made an addition to its 2018 schedule on Monday.

It was announced by the University of Alabama-Birmingham that the Blazers, who will once again be playing as a full FBS member eligible for postseason play in 2017, will visit Kyle Field the following season on Sept. 22, 2018.

“Scheduling games our players and fans can look forward to is another important part of the big picture, and we are excited for the opportunity to play Texas A&M in one of the premier venues in college football,” UAB head coach Bill Clark said.

For the Conference USA member, it will face an SEC team in back-to-back seasons as the Blazers will face the Gators in The Swamp on Nov. 18, 2017.

The two schools faced one another in 2009, when Texas A&M beat UAB 56-19.
