A Texas A&M analyst is reportedly following former Aggie defensive coordinator Mike Elko to Duke.
College football insider Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports reports, per sources, that Harland Bower is headed to Duke to be Elko’s defensive ends coach for the Blue Devils.
Sources: Texas A&M analyst Harland Bower is leaving to coach the defensive ends at Duke. He worked with Duke coach Mike Elko in an off-field role at Notre Dame and Texas A&M. He’s worked in on-field coaching roles at South Alabama and Central Arkansas.

Bower joined Texas A&M’s staff in March 2021. He arrived in College Station after 3 seasons at South Alabama as defensive line coach. Elko was hired as Duke’s head coach on Dec. 10. Elko and Bower also worked together at Notre Dame in 2017.
