A Texas A&M junior defensive back has opted to leave College Station early.
Debione Renfro announced on Wednesday that he’ll be entering the upcoming NFL Draft. Renfro announced his decision in a note addressed to the 12th Man, shared on Twitter:
A Pearland (Texas) product, Renfro played in 10 games during Texas A&M’s 2019 season, making five starts. He led the Aggies defense with five tackles, including two for loss, in the win over Lamar. Renfro’s personal season-high of six tackles came in the regular-season finale at LSU. In the Texas Bowl, Renfro’s final game for the Aggies,the junior had four total tackles and was credited for half a sack.
For his career, Renfro played in 37 games, recording 124 total tackles, 5.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 14 pass breakups, 4 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.
