Texas A&M will welcome the Texas Longhorns to Kyle Field in 2024.

The game is back, and it’s coming home.

That was the message from the Aggies on Wednesday night following the release of the SEC’s matchups for the 2024 season. Texas and Oklahoma are joining the league, and the SEC’s schedule makers made sure to get the Longhorns on the Aggies’ schedule.

It’ll be the first meeting between the 2 teams since 2011. A&M’s departure from the Big 12 in 2012 brought an end to a rivalry that had been played every year since 1915.

With its return, A&M’s social media department cooked up a special video to highlight the history of the game and capture the excitement around its return.

Texas leads the all-time series 76-37-5. But A&M went 15-13 against the Longhorns from 1984-2011 and won 3 of 6 leading up to its move to the SEC.

Dates have yet to be set for the 2024 schedule.
