Texas A&M will reportedly be without 4 true freshmen, including a trio of former 5-stars, for Saturday night’s game against No. 13 Miami.

247Sports is reporting that WR Evan Stewart, WR Chris Marshall, CB Denver Harris and CB Smoke Bouie are not expected to play due to a violation of team rules.

Stewart was the highest-rated recruit of the bunch, 5-stars and No. 11 overall in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports composite rankings. Stewart is already one of the team’s top receivers with 10 catches for 185 yards. Ainias Smith, the team’s leading pass-catcher (10 catches, 185 yards, 2 touchdowns), is the only other Aggie receiver with double-digit receptions through 2 games.

Marshall is another receiver with a 5-star rating as a class of 2022 recruit. The Composite’s No. 25 prospect, Marshall has 4 catches for 41 yards so far.

Harris, a 5-star cornerback who was the No. 23 overall prospect, has played in each of the first 2 games, recording 5 total tackles.

Bouie, a 4-star safety who was rated No. 68 overall, played in the season opener against Sam Houston but did not record any statistics.

No. 13 Miami and No. 24 Texas A&M are set for a 9 p.m. ET kickoff, with the game airing on ESPN.
