It’s been an interesting week for the University of Texas football team. Apparently, a Longhorn’s assistant coach Jeff Banks’ girlfriend pet monkey bit a child on Halloween.
The monkey’s owner posted a video on Twitter trying to refute those charges, but the tweet and video have been taken down since then.
When asked about what happened, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, basically ignored the incident and said it’s a personal matter.
A matter, however, that has come to light and been made public. And of course, like any good rivalry, the Texas A&M faithful have been a field day trolling Longhorn fans about the incident all week.
You can see in the background of the “The Paul Finebaum Show.” on set at TAMU ahead of Saturday’s “SEC Nation,” that Aggie fans are still getting a kick out of the whole incident.
