Kevin Sumlin tweeted the eyes emoji not long after the conclusion of the Texas A&M-Auburn game. He didn’t provide any context in that tweet or any later tweets. The tweet could be about anything, but plenty of Aggies fans thought it was about Texas A&M’s 28-20 loss to Auburn, as evidenced by the replies below:

Will you be watching Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray play one another on Sunday in an NFL game? Is that what you're telling us?

Did that game remind you of your days here when true freshman QB Shea Patterson put up 23 unanswered against you in the 4th quarter in his first collegiate start? For as bad as this game was, it’ll never be as bad as it was in 2015-17 with you here.

It's almost like every non Johnny team you coached in November.

Should probably get back to ruining Tate’s career.

Please Kevin, tell us more about how great of a coach you are by managing to run off Kenny Hill, Kyle Allen AND Kyler Murray

Considering Sumlin was paid quite handsomely to both coach and not coach Texas A&M, it’s not the best look for the former head coach and hard to blame the fans for their response.
