Texas A&M flipped 4-star Jayden Warren’s commitment from Houston on Sunday, heavily boosting its wide receiver room for the 2026 season.

Warren told On3 of his decision on Sunday afternoon to flip from 1 Texas school to another. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect is now heading to College Station instead of Houston, and it’s a particularly huge recruiting win for the Aggies because Warren is an in-state kid, hailing from Rosharon, Texas.

He had been committed to Houston since July of this year, but now an already successful season on the field for Texas A&M in 2025 has a big-time recruiting victory for 2026 attached to it.

“Left it all to God and he made it happen,” Warren told On3.

Warren is the 172nd-ranked player in the Class of 2026, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the 27th-ranked wideout and the 22nd-ranked player from the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Texas A&M now has 27 hard commits in its 2026 recruiting class. Warren’s flip has boosted the Aggies’ 2026 class to 8th in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Warren’s sudden flip from Houston to Texas A&M was announced 1 week after he finished an official visit to College Station.
