Texas A&M has a new athletic director just a day after its old one went out the door.
The Aggies have named Washington athletic director Scott Woodward to hold the same position in College Station, according to a report from Chip Brown of HornsDigest.com, which was confirmed by Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com.
On Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reported that Eric Hyman would be stepping down just a day after Hyman gave head coach Kevin Sumlin a proverbial vote of confidence.
Woodward, an LSU graduate, had served as the Huskies athletic director since 2008.
Confirmed per multiple sources @ChipBrownHD report that UW AD Scott Woodward next A&M AD. Deal not done but he's Eric Hyman's successor.
