Four-star defensive end Mark Jackson was committed to Texas A&M, but that came all the way back in May.

The Cibolo, Texas, native has changed his mind and is going out of state to Oklahoma nine months later and two days before National Signing Day, according to mysanantonio.com and TexAgs’ Billy Liucci.

Jackson’s decision comes after taking his official visit to the Sooners this past weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 221-pounder is a four-star prospect and is rated as the No. 14 weakside defensive end in the Class of 2016, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
