Texas A&M moved to 6-0 on the season on Saturday night, as the Aggies defeated Florida by a score of 34-17. The game got off to a fast start, as it was 14-14 late in the first quarter.
As the game was nearing the end, the result had been decided and the Aggies decided to have a little bit of fun at the Gators expense.
They put on ‘I Won’t Back Down’ by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on, in reference to Florida’s weekly tradition at The Swamp.
The Aggies’ defense continued their really impressive start in SEC play, as they have allowed only 36 points in 3 conference games. If they continue playing like that, then they are going to be a true contender in both the SEC race, as well as the College Football Playoff.
Meanwhile, Florida has now lost 4 of its last 5 games with last week’s win over Texas in Gainesville being the only exception.
Texas A&M will look to remain undefeated next week when the Aggies take on Arkansas.
