The Texas A&M Aggies landed 4-star dual-threat QB James Foster out of Alabama as part of their 2018 recruiting class.

However, after a couple of years of very little playing time (redshirting in 2018 and appearing in only 4 games in 2019), it seems Foster is ready to move on.

Per AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, Foster will explore his options and has entered the NCAA transfer portal:

Foster played against Mississippi State and South Carolina last season, but actually accounted for stats in the game against Lamar, completing 2-of-5 passes for 25 yards. He also ran twice for 17 yards.

Foster was the No. 12 dual-threat QB in the class of 2018 and the No. 10 overall recruit from the state of Alabama, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
