Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss arrested in College Station, per jail records
Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge in College Station early Sunday morning, according to Bravos County jail records.
Moss was released later on Sunday on a bond of $300. The charge carries a ‘threat or abuse’ designation, per jail records.
According to a probable cause statement reviewed by KBTX, Moss threatened and “assumed a fighting posture towards an unidentified man.” Police say they observed Moss shouting at the man at about 1 a.m. on Sunday morning. The statement says the incident was captured on body cam and street cameras.
As of publication, Texas A&M has not issued a comment on this matter.
The arrest comes just days before Mike Elko and 3 Texas A&M football players will speak at SEC Media Days on Thursday. Elko will be joined by linebacker Taurean York, offensive lineman Ar’maj Reed-Adams and cornerback Will Lee III.
Moss is slated to be a huge part of Texas A&M’s offense in 2025. A projected starter, Moss averaged 6.3 yards per carry and cleared 700 yards for the first time in his career in 2024. Moss suffered a season-ending injury last fall against South Carolina but is expected to be healthy for this upcoming season.
Texas A&M will face UTSA on Aug. 30 to open up its regular season.
