Texas A&M trolls Brady Cook for crowd noise comments in midst of blowout

Texas A&M isn’t holding back on Brady Cook even in the midst of a blowout win.

Earlier this week, Cook told reporters that Mizzou had been cranking up the noise at practice to prepare for this week’s road trip to Kyle Field. Cook claimed the noise he deals with at practice is louder than what Mizzou’s offense usually faces in opposing stadiums.

“The noise at practice is actually louder,” Cook said. “They put these big speakers pretty much 2 feet right behind me … I mean you can’t hear anything. It’s loud. In stadiums, it’s loud but it’s like a surrounding, more distant loud. I think it’s just as loud or louder or tougher to communicate. So that’s great work, we’ve been doing that every single rep this week.”

After Mizzou’s shocking performance in College Station on Saturday, he may have a chance of opinion on that front. Missouri’s offense struggled all game long against the Aggies, particularly with penalties.

Late in the 4th quarter of Texas A&M’s blowout win, the program trolled Cook by putting his quote from earlier in the week on the video board:

The Texas A&M fan base got in on the action too. Here’s video showing a group of fans chanting in unison “just like practice” at the Mizzou QB:

This was Missouri’s first trip to College Station since 2014.
