Texas A&M will be without one of its top receiving weapons for the foreseeable future.
Aggies coach Jimbo Fisher said during his Monday press conference that sophomore receiver Jhamon Ausbon underwent foot surgery following the team’s 24-17 win against Arkansas last Saturday. Fisher offered no timetable for Aubson’s return.

Ausbon emerged from halftime of last week’s game on crutches and with a boot on his right foot. He’s third on the team in both catches (15) and yards (221), though he doesn’t yet have a touchdown to his name this season.
The former Under Armour All-American caught 50 balls for 571 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman last year.
We’ll see how Texas A&M (3-2, 1-1 SEC) plans to replace Ausbon’s production when it hosts No. 13 Kentucky (5-0, 3-0) at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
