It looks like there’s a chance Nick Harvey could wind up playing in College Station next season after all — at least for one game.

The former Texas A&M defensive back revealed he took a trip to Columbia over the weekend. Harvey announced just over two weeks ago he would be leaving College Station as a graduate transfer this summer. Harvey missed all of last season due to a preseason injury but had been a starter for the Aggies in 2016 and consistently saw the field his first two seasons in College Station, too.

Because he’s a graduate transfer, he would be eligible immediately wherever he lands. A former U.S. Army All-American in 2014, Harvey was ranked as the nation’s No. 7 cornerback prospect coming out of high school.

According to his Twitter, Harvey appeared to hit it off with Gamecock DB Keisean Nixon during his visit. In a bit of irony, South Carolina travels to Texas A&M next season on Oct. 13.
