The Ringer’s Danny Kelly has put together his first mock draft of the 2022 cycle, released on Tuesday morning.

The draft won’t be held until late-April, so you can expect plenty of movement after the NFL Combine in early March, but for now, Kelly includes 11 SEC stars in his Round 1 projections.

As you can see below, he has Alabama OL Evan Neal as the No. 1 overall pick. Georgia leads the way with 3 players being taken. Alabama and Texas A&M have 2 players going in the first round each:

  • No. 1 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 4 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 9 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Denver Broncos
  • No. 14 — Trayvon Walker, Edge, Georgia — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 15 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 17 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 18 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 22 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 23 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 28 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 30 — DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M — Kansas City Chiefs

Who will stand out at the NFL Combine? Who will have big pro days? We’ll find out which prospects improve their draft stock in the coming weeks.
