Theo Von weighs in on Lane Kiffin’s decision, describes Ole Miss fans’ efforts to keep him

Comedian Theo Von gave his honest take on the Lane Kiffin situation this week, discussing it on The Pat McAfee Show as speculation continues to swirl around the Rebels’ head coach.
Von said Ole Miss fans have rallied around Kiffin’s program in unique ways in recent years.
“People are selling family recipes to put money into [Ole Miss’ football],” Von said. “I feel like [Lane Kiffin] has pushed the cart all the way up the hill, so to leave right now feels weird.”
He expanded on that, suggesting it’s too important for Kiffin to walk away — especially with the Rebels sitting at 10–1 and squarely in the College Football Playoff race. Von said his preference would be for Kiffin to stay in Oxford.
“It seems to me like he has such a great life over there, that I think he should stay,” Von said.
With Ole Miss barreling toward the postseason and outside noise growing louder, Von is just the latest to make his stance public about Kiffin’s situation. Here’s a clip of his comments on McAfee’s show:
