Week 11 was a rough one for several ranked teams, but the SEC’s results sparked plenty of commentary, too.

Mississippi State @ Alabama
Alabama now leads the SEC in total offense (492.2 ypg) and total defense (259.5). The SEC hasn't had a team lead league in both since 2006.

Urban Meyer almost walked away from the podium to go make a phone call when a reporter told him Bama used Trent Richardson on its scout team

How dominant is #Bama? Last 17 games in SEC: Alabama is 17-0. Tennessee has the next best record at 13-4 followed by Arkansas at 12-5.

Bama should occupy top 4 spots in college fb.

South Carolina at Florida
#Gators finish 5-0 at Swamp (abbreviated schedule), marking first unbeaten season at home since 2012
— Scott Carter (@GatorsScott) November 12, 2016
LSU opens as a 12-point favorite at home over Florida. Tennessee needs Gators to lose this game in order to win the East
— SEC Mike (@MichaelWBratton) November 13, 2016
#Gators did not allow more than 14 points at home this year.
That hasn't happened since 1964 — when Florida allowed 98 points total.

That’s 21,120 yards for those of you not near a calculator. That would set an NCAA single-game record …

Alabama, Troy, Auburn, Jacksonville State and North Alabama are a combined 42-6 this year.
Three of those losses belong to Auburn.
— Ryan McCollough (@RyanLMcCollough) November 14, 2016
Apparently Auburn had injuries so it "should have won"…
Remember way back in 2015 when UGA went to Auburn without Nick Chubb? Still won.— Logan Booker (@LoganMBooker) November 14, 2016

Vanderbilt at Missouri
Fun facts ahead of Barry Odom's press conference at 3:
-Mizzou leads UT series 3-1
-Mizzou is 2-0 in Knoxville
-UT won last year 19-8— Alec Lewis (@alec_lewis) November 14, 2016
Vanderbilt had 424 yards of offense going into the 4th Q. I don't think anything about the offense other than a few mistakes was a problem.
— Jesse Johnson (@JesseWJohnsonVU) November 13, 2016
#Mizzou is in victory formation. Tigers will beat Vanderbilt 26-17.

#LSU still hasn't allowed an opponent to score more than 21 points in a game & @LSUfootball has allowed just 10 TDs all year, fewest in FBS.

As much as we make fun of the defenses at Cal, Texas Tech and Oregon, Arkansas now owns the nation's dead-last rushing D. Ouch.
