Most Florida fans were getting ready to enjoy the Gators spring football game on Friday afternoon, but a trio of Florida men had different plans for their trip to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
According to a report from The Gainesville Sun, three men were arrested for breaking into the Florida locker room and stealing football jerseys less than three hours prior to the start of the Orange and Blue spring game.
Reagan Harrison Dean, 21, of Ocala; Jeremy Bruce Agee, 24, of Ocala; and Stephen Paul Collazo, 35, of Gainesville, were charged with felony-level burglary and theft, according to arrest reports.
They made away with two jerseys, which were reportedly valued at $200 each.
One problem for the thieves: Survellience cameras caught the crime, and the footage was reportedly used to identify the offenders.
University officials confirmed that none of the men involved were affiliated with the school.
