Tim Brando ranks Notre Dame ahead of Georgia in his latest top 10 poll

FOX Sports broadcaster Tim Brando doesn’t quite agree with the AP Top 25 Poll. At least that appears to be the case based on his latest Top 10 rankings that he shared on Twitter on Monday.
While Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the AP poll and the Amway Coaches Poll, Brando has the Crimson Tide at No. 3 in his rankings. Ahead of them, he has Ohio State at No. 1 followed by LSU at No. 2.
At the bottom of Brando’s rankings, he has Notre Dame at No. 9 just ahead of Georgia, which rounds out the list at No. 10. However, the Bulldogs beat the Fighting Irish, 23-17, on Sept. 21. Georgia is also ranked behind Notre Dame in both the AP and Coaches polls despite that previous result.

There are several other notable things about Brando’s rankings that are worth pointing out.
First, Brando has Clemson ranked lower than both the AP and Coaches polls. While the Tigers are No. 3 and No. 2 in those polls, respectively, Brando has them at No. 5.
The top seven teams are the same in all three polls, just in different orders. And all of those schools are undefeated, so there is definitely room for debate over what order they should be in.
One notable exclusion is Florida, which is ranked No. 9 in both the AP and Coaches polls. The Gators may have lost to LSU on Saturday, but they played a competitive game against an elite opponent. Brando doesn’t even have Florida in his “just out” section.
