Tim Tebow isn’t waiting to cash-in on a potential baseball career. The former Florida quarterback is selling signed baseballs for $125 and signed bats for $175, according to Kyle Koster of TheBigLead.com.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tebow is pursuing a career in professional baseball and plans to workout for teams later this month, Tebow’s agent Jimmy Sexton confirmed to Schefter.
“Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures,” Sexton told ESPN.
“Tim’s athletic ability, his work ethic, his leadership and his competitiveness were evident in football and will show in baseball. Knowing Tim’s passion and desire, we won’t be surprised by anything he accomplishes.”
The 29-year-old was a standout baseball player at Nease High School and hit for a .494 average as a junior, before foregoing his senior season to enroll early at Florida.
Tebow currently works as an analyst for SEC Network. He is one of the most decorated quarterbacks in SEC history with a career that includes two national championships (2007, 2009), a Heisman Trophy (2007) and two All-American nods (2007, 2008).
