The Missouri Tigers are set to renew their longstanding rivalry with the Kansas Jayhawks for the first time since the 2011 season this afternoon, and the Tigers will be looking to extend their current winning streak against their hated rivals to 4 in a row.
In order to do so, Mizzou will be turning to their senior quarterback in Penn State transfer Beau Pribula, who everyone in Columbia is hoping will become the next great gunslinger to don the gold and black.
Tigers’ faithful everywhere have kicked off the “Believe in Beau” campaign in order to rally around their new QB, and Pribula also has the belief of one of the greatest players to ever come out of the SEC— Florida legend Tim Tebow.
“I really do Beau-lieve in Beau,” Tebow said on SEC Nation. “Not just as a runner, he ain’t just a wildcat quarterback. He can throw with anticipation, he can throw with accuracy, and he can make plays from the pocket.”

If there’s one thing Tebow knows better than just about anybody else, it’s what it takes to be a successful quarterback at the SEC level, and he clearly sees shades of himself in the new man under center for Missouri.
Whether or not Pribula can translate the traits Tebow mentioned here into success against the Jayhawks remains to be seen, but it’s very clear he has all the tools to take the Tigers team very far in 2025.
