Minor League Baseball fans simply can’t get enough of Tim Tebow.
After starting the season with the low-A Columbia Fireflies in the New York Mets’ farm system, Tebow earned a promotion to the high-A St. Lucie Mets.
On Friday, the St. Lucie squad announced that it has already set a single-season attendance record, thanks in large part to the former Florida quarterback:
BREAKING: With tonight's attendance of 3,399 we have set a new single season home attendance record of 108,057!!! #STLMets pic.twitter.com/yEklpdLqJA

Tebow is currently hitting .273 with five home runs and 22 RBI in 137 plate appearances for the Mets. Though those numbers aren’t exactly promotion-worthy, they are better than his numbers in Columbia.
Plus, with how many fans he draws to the stadium on a nightly basis, it’s entirely possible the Tim Tebow experience could head north this month, as the Mets’ double-A affiliate is the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
