Tim Tebow weighs in on Tua Tagovailoa’s ankle injury after watching Friday’s practice

No. 2 LSU heads to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 3 Alabama on Saturday afternoon, and everyone is wondering how healthy Crimson Tide QB Tua Tagovailoa’s ankle will be.
The star quarterback had surgery following the Tennessee game, missed the Arkansas matchup two weeks ago and has been recovering through the off week.
On Saturday morning’s SportsCenter, SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow said he thinks Tagovailoa will look fine on Saturday afternoon after watching Friday’s practice:
“He’s going to be just fine,” Tebow said. “I had the chance to be with him yesterday. He was warming up; he was throwing and looked really good. Yeah, I think when he’s sprinting and trying to dive for a first down will he be a little hampered? Maybe, but he’s been practicing on it for the last two weeks. It also makes it easier that it’s his right ankle not his left ankle. If it was his left ankle, it would be his plant ankle. It would be a little more painful.
“Look for a key in this game to be the running back on his left side, so he can open up, fake and be ready to throw. … I think Tua is going to be just fine.”
The issue is that Alabama will have to protect Tua differently, as Tebow mentioned. Will LSU have a game plan to make the Alabama QB uncomfortable?
