Alabama basketball has been one of the most consistent programs in all of college basketball the past few seasons, as Nate Oats has helped take this program to another level. Expectations are high once again, and the non-conference scheduled is loaded. One of the biggest games of the season is Alabama against Rick Pitino and St. John’s.

On Sunday, college basketball insider Adam Zagoria reported Alabama and St. John’s will tip off at 12 p.m. on Nov. 8. That’s important for Crimson Tide fans, as that’s the same day Alabama football will take on LSU in a monster game for both programs.

The basketball game will be at Madison Square Garden, and the early tipoff is definitely going to make the fans in Tuscaloosa happy. The football game figures to be in a primetime slot, although that has not officially been announced. There is a good chance that game has major implications when it comes to the SEC, as well as the College Football Playoff.

If you’re a Crimson Tide fan, then Nov. 8 has already been marked on the calendar for quite some time. The Tigers and Crimson Tide will kickoff in Tuscaloosa, and what better way to start the day off then with a college basketball game with teams that figure to be in the top 25 to start the year.
