Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown will make his return to the roster for the 1st time in over a month.
The Titans on Thursday activated the 3rd-year wideout ahead of their “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, his first game since Nov. 21 against the Houston Texans. He left that game due to a chest injury and was placed on injured reserve.
A Pro Bowler in 2020, Brown has made 46 catches for 615 yards and 3 touchdowns thus far in 2021. With the Titans well in the playoff hunt—and, in fact, hoping to clinch a spot in the postseason with a win coupled with an Indianapolis Colts loss to the Arizona Cardinals—the return of Brown to an offense that has also been missing Derrick Henry over the past several weeks should give the Titans a boost with the regular season drawing to a close soon.
Kickoff between the Titans and 49ers is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on FOX and the NFL Network.
