TJ Lindsey, elite 2024 DL out of IMG Academy, reveals SEC commitment

TJ Lindsey is an elite 4-star defensive lineman for the 2024 recruiting class. He was considering a number of SEC programs in his final group, and Lindsey confirmed his destination on Saturday.
Lindsey’s group of final programs included Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M out of the SEC to go with Texas, making its way to the SEC next season. Miami was the final team in Lindsey’s final 5.
In the end, Hugh Freeze’s Auburn program landed Lindsey’s pledge:

Lindsey is listed at 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds out of IMG Academy in Florida. According to the 247 Sports Composite, he’s a 4-star recruit and the 34th overall DL in the country for the 2024 recruiting class.
Impact for Auburn
The commitment of Lindsey is another big win for Hugh Freeze’s program on the recruiting trail. The commitment brings Auburn up to 16 players for the 2024 recruiting class, a group that ranked 16th in the country at the time of Lindsey’s decision per the 247 Sports Team Composite.
Lindsey is the 2nd DL to pledge to the Tigers, joining 3-star DL Malik Blocton. Lindsey is the highest-rated DL prospect in Auburn’s current class with Freeze looking to push the program to a top-15 class.
