On Wednesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s resident cartoonist, Mike Luckovich hilariously depicted Georgia running back Todd Gurley and the current perception of the NCAA.

In the cartoon, the man representing the NCAA is “raking in” all the cash from Gurley’s stardom, but as Gurley is grabbing a few bucks for himself, he’s slapped with a suspension.
Currently, Gurley is indefinitely suspended pending an NCAA investigation into whether Gurley accepted extra benefits for his likeness from memorabilia brokers.
Not only has this latest incident shined a big light on the pay-for-play debate, but it has also riled up the growing amount of NCAA detractors who say the NCAA unfairly profits off its star players, while those same players don’t get any of the monetary benefits.
