The No. 14 Missouri Tigers are off to an excellent 5-0 start behind a stout run game led by star running back Ahmad Hardy and an elite offensive line.
Hardy, in particular, has blossomed into the best running back in the entire league since joining the Tigers over the offseason, currently boasting an SEC-leading 730 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns.
NFL draft analyst Todd McShay broke down the film on both Hardy and the elite Mizzou offensive line he runs behind, and took to social media to give some very high praise to both ahead of their pivotal Week 7 matchup against No. 8 Alabama.
McShay said that Hardy reminded him of an “armored combat vehicle” and said that the Tigers’ offensive line was the best run-blocking group that he had studied so far this year.

This combination is what has made Mizzou so formidable on offense this season, and McShay believes that it will be a very big challenge for the Tide’s stout front 7 on Saturday.
Alabama has given up some big yardage on the ground in 2025, so it will be interesting to see whether or not Hardy and the Tigers’ offensive front can take advantage of that weakness and pick up a massive upset win in the process.
