The biggest unknown regarding Chad Morris as he embarks on fixing the woes of the Arkansas program is how well will he adjust to coaching in the SEC. Former Clemson coach Tommy Bowden believes Morris has the confidence to get the job done, which is the perfect place to start.

Considering both coaches have ties to Clemson, Bowden was a natural choice to ask about the future of the Razorbacks under Morris. While acknowledging his belief that Morris has all the confidence in the world, Bowden does have reservations regarding the uphill climb Arkansas has to make under its new leader.

It’s not that Bowden doubts the Razorbacks can do it, his concern seems to be if Morris can do it quickly enough given the state of college football in which administrations are quick to pull the plug if a program isn’t making the leaps and bounds of others.

“We will find out shortly whether he can handle that, if he can get that system taught quick enough and how patient the administration at Arkansas is,” Bowden said during a recent appearance on Arkansas radio show Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly.

The complete video segment of the interview was recently shared by Bo Mattingly on Twitter:
