After leaving Ole Miss this offseason and exploring his options, which included a trip to Gainesville to witness the start of Florida’s spring practice, Georgia native Tony Gray has announced he will continue his collegiate career at UCF.

Unless granted an appeal, Gray will be forced to sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules. The former 2017 Under Armour All-American never found his footing in Oxford after signing with Ole Miss over scholarship offers from Florida and South Carolina, among others.

Gray announced this decision with the following message on Twitter:

“I would like to thank my family for staying down and believing in me, I would also like to thank all of the schools that gave me the opportunity to be a part of their program and I would also like to thank God for blessing me with this skills and ability to player I am today without further do I would be attending the University of Central Florida. #UCFknight”

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound product of Grayson High School was rated as a three-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
