The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the NFL’s best teams so far in 2016, jumping out to an impressive 8-1 record through nine games.
But, with rookie QB Dak Prescott, a former Mississippi State star, filling in for injured starter Tony Romo, there was a potential problem looming over the team.
However, on Tuesday, Romo put those concerns to rest, saying he understands that Prescott gives the Cowboys the best chance to win right now:
Romo: "Dak Prescott has earned the right to be our quarterback – as hards as that is for me to say."

Romo added that he’ll continue to support Prescott and help the team in whatever ways he can:
Romo: Something magical is happening to our team. I'm not going to let something negative happen to Dak or the team by being a distraction.
