It took only two days for Mississippi State to sell out its new cabana club seats
When one thinks of Starkville, Mississippi, beach cabanas probably aren’t the first thing that comes to mind. Thanks to the new cabanas gracing Davis Wade Stadium this fall, that may soon be changing.
The Scoreboard Club Terrace Cabanas were first announced just over a week ago. While many scoffed at the idea, the club seats sold out after only 48 hours on the market – according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell. That’s despite a hefty price tag of $18,000 per cabana.
“We have no problem selling out our premium spaces,” Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin said. “The biggest challenge is selling our cheaper tickets.”
Each cabana comes with seating for 12, food, and a television to watch the game. The cabanas have been such a hit, Mississippi State in contemplating added a few more before the football seasons arrives.
