IMG Academy RB Noah Cain has narrowed it down to six schools, and a pair of SEC West rivals remain in the hunt. The 4-star recruit shared the news Sunday evening in a tweet.

Cain tweeted a graphic with Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, Penn State, Ohio State and Auburn logos across the bottom (in order from left to right). On his 247Sports recruiting profile, experts have the Longhorns as the team to beat. Cain played at Denton Guyer in Texas before transferring to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. UT has 61 percent of the Crystal Ball predictions submitted to the site by recruiting experts. LSU is next in line with 22 percent of the predictions.

The Bayou Bengals could use a big running back commitment. Earlier Sunday, 5-star Louisiana RB John Emery announced he was pledging to Georgia, which particularly stings for Ed Orgeron and his staff.

The 247Sports Composite rates Cain as the No. 6 running back in the class and No. 13 recruit out of talent-rich Florida. The rankings have him at No. 102 overall nationally.

Cain’s Hudl profile lists a 40-yard dash time of 4.41 seconds. His highlights can be seen in the video below.
