Top 100 prospect, IMG recruit Deyavie Hammond decommits from Alabama

Alabama’s 2019 recruiting cycle took a hit Friday morning as Deyavie Hammond announced his decision to back off his pledge to the Crimson Tide.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Hammond is one of the nation’s elite offensive line prospects for the 2019 recruiting cycle. 247Sports Composite Rankings list him as the No. 3 offensive guard prospect in the nation and the No. 62 overall recruit in the nation for 2019.

The Crimson Tide are now down to four 2019 commitments, however, all four are elite, four-star prospects. Of course, Alabama has plenty of time between now and 2019’s National Signing Day to win Hammond back over.
