Looking ahead at the 2016 class, here are the SEC’s most wanted linebackers at the inside and outside positions:
INSIDE LINEBACKERS
There’s only eight inside guys ranked four stars or better for 2016, but a few highly-rated three-stars just outside the upper tier have already committed to SEC programs including JaCorey Morris (South Carolina) and Roland Walder (Kentucky).

- Dontavious Jackson, 6-3, 235, Four-star, Houston, Texas, No. 4 overall ILB (uncommitted; Texas A&M target)
- Tre Lamar, 6-4, 240, Four-star, Roswell, Ga., No. 5 overall ILB (uncommitted; Alabama, Mississippi State target)
- Jaquan Yulee, 6-2, 240, Four-star, Chesapeake, Va., No. 6 overall ILB (uncommitted; offer from Alabama)
- Devin Bush Jr., 6-0, 220, Four-star, Hollywood, Fla, No. 7 overall ILB (uncommitted; Georgia target)
OUTSIDE LINEBACKERS
The talent is substantial on the outside for next year’s linebackers with 27 players ranked four-stars or better. Most of these guys could be used as hybrid pass rushers off the edge in the SEC. A few of the top uncommitteds eyeing the SEC are below:

- Jeff McCulloch, 6-2, 225, Four-star, Houston, Texas, No. 6 overall OLB (uncommitted; Alabama, Florida, LSU target)
- Michael Divinity, 6-2, 218, Four-star, Marrero, La., No. 7 overall OLB (uncommitted; LSU target)
