Top 2021 safety, a 5-star prospect from Louisiana, commits to LSU

The LSU Tigers are going through a bit of a rebuilding year after losing so much talent from last year’s national championship squad.
However, there are plenty of promising young players in Baton Rouge already, and more are on the way, including a 5-star safety who committed to the Tigers on Saturday.
As you can see below, 5-star Louisiana native Sage Ryan — the No. 28 player in the 2021 class — explains why he decided to commit to LSU over Alabama and other top programs:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Ryan is the No. 1 safety in the class of 2021 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
LSU now has 20 players in its 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
