Kadyn Proctor, one of the top recruits in the 2023 class, announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he has cut his list to 12 schools.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle is a native of Des Moines, Iowa, where he stars for Southeast Polk High School.

Highlighting Proctor’s list are 5 SEC teams: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M and Florida.
Also making the cut are Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Clemson, along with in-state programs Iowa and Iowa State.
Proctor is rated by the 247Sports composite as a 5-star prospect and the No. 5 overall recruit in the 2023 class. He’s also considered the No. 1 offensive tackle and the top player in Iowa.
Per On3.com writer Hayes Fawcett, Proctor has already visited Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Iowa and Iowa State, and he plans to take more visits in the weeks ahead to his other finalists before making a decision.
