LSU is known for keeping its Louisiana prospects at home, but that trend may not hold up with the highest-rated junior college defensive end for 2017.
In fact, Isaiah Buggs listed seven SEC teams in his top 10 released via Twitter on Thursday, but the Tigers were nowhere to be found among them.
New Top 10 NO ORDER!
1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Texas A&M
4. Baylor
5. Miami
6. Ole Miss
7. Auburn
8. Arkansas
9. Georgia
10. Florida— Isaiah D. Buggs (@BigPooh_91) April 7, 2016
It’s a little surprising that the Ruston, La., native left LSU out considering he listed half the teams in the SEC. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder currently plays for Mississippi Gulf Coast junior college and holds 18 reported offers, according to 247Sports. That includes all his listed teams as well as LSU and Mississippi State.
He tweeted this not long after the above tweet.
