The No. 1 outside linebacker in the nation has announced his final three schools that are in consideration and all are SEC schools.

Lyndell Wilson, a five-star prospect who’s also rated as the No. 13 overall recruit for the Class of 2016, has Alabama, Florida and Georgia in his sights. He’s also scheduled official visits in January for each school: Georgia from Jan. 15-17, Alabama from Jan. 22-24 and Florida from Jan. 29-31.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Wilson out of Carver High School in Montgomery, Ala., is believed to have Florida and Alabama as his two favorites. One of his teammates and closest friends, three-star cornerback Antonio Nelson, has already committed to the Gators on Nov. 23.

As you’d imagine, Wilson — rated as the No. 2 prospect out of the state of Alabama — has offers from many other SEC schools such as Auburn, LSU, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee. He also has gotten offers from other big-name programs such as Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA and USC, among others.
