Top prospects added to Elite 11 Finals list, SEC now set to send 5 quarterbacks to the event
Nike’s prestigious summer football camp is set to have even more representation from the Southeastern Conference as two more commits from the league have landed invites to the Elite 11 Finals.
If you are not familiar with the Elite 11, the camp has been running since 1999. The company hosts regional camps open to a wide range of players all across the nation looking for the best of the best and those that stand out are chosen to compete in the Elite 11 Finals.
While the SEC was already poised to be represented by three signal callers at the event — Tennessee commit Harrison Bailey, Georgia commit Carson Beck and Florida commit Anthony Richardson were all previously invited — LSU commit T.J. Finley and South Carolina commit Luke Doty were both recently extended invitations to the finals.
In addition to those five invites, Chandler Morris of Texas — the son of Arkansas head coach Chad Morris and a big Razorback and Auburn and Texas A&M target — has also been invited to the Elite 11 Finals. If he were to commit to either program, the SEC’s number of committed QBs at the camp would increase to six.
The Elite 11 Finals will be held in Frisco, TX. this year on June 28 – 30. The players in attendance will compete with the winner emerging as the Elite 11 Finals MVP.
