Houston native Toby Weathersby ranks as the No. 10 offensive tackle prospect for the 2015 class. The 6-foot-4.5, 295-pound senior ranks No. 124 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings and is the No. 16 player in the state of Texas.

Weathersby committed to Texas in March, but decided to reopen his recruitment on Dec. 15. The four-star prospect has offers from several SEC teams, including Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

As it stands, Oklahoma is the favorite to sign Weathersby, but A&M could also make a late push after impressing the senior during an unofficial visit one month prior to his decommitment. Both schools hold an advantage in geographical distance, as Weathersby made no secret that proximity was a deciding factor in choosing Texas earlier this year.

“It’s awesome to have offers from the schools I have offers from, but I want to stay close to home,” Weathersby told the Dallas Morning News in March.

Weathersby also plans to visit LSU during the weekend of Jan. 16-18, according to Geaux247. The Tigers lost an offensive tackle commit after Matt Womack announced his decision to decommit in December.

Weathersby ranks higher than a seven in each of the 247Sports skills categories for offensive lineman. His best attributes are his large frame and body quickness. His foot work and pass blocking skills are solid, but need to improve to be among the nation’s best linemen.

The four-star prospect will participate in the Under Armour All-American game on Jan. 2.
